Does anyone know if the reset procedure for 2nd gen's would work for the 3rd gen's?

apps reset proceedure:



Disconnect negative battery cables for at least 1 hour



Reconnect cables



insert key and turn to run position



pedal down slowly to the floor, then slowly back up(repeat this step 3 times)



start



crack open a cold one

Is that the same for the '04's?
