APPS test

Anyone know of a way to test the APPS? Been experiencing a dead pedal lately and seems to be getting worse. Usually throws P Code 2101 at me and the CEL comes on also.

if you have a scope, you can back pin the apps and see the sweep and see if you have any dead spots. . you can do the same with a multimeter, but you need to sweep real slow to catch the dead voltage output [back pin between the ground and the signal return]
