I had my truck stall on the way in to the office, restarted right away but the check engine light is on with code p0122. Just had the vp44 replaced along with replacing the lift pump with a FASS unit 3 weeks ago. The scary part is that the first sign of failure on the VP44 was stalling.

I'm at work without the service manual, I'm assuming that this beastie still has the tps and that it is on the throttle body. Can someone let me know if I am wrong. I was going to pick up a new sensor on the way home.

Thanks,

Laddie Hanus

If has what was called the TPS on the 12 valves, it is now APPS, (accelerator pedal position switch. ) It is at the belcrank where the accelerator cable is connected above the injector switch. bg

I had the P-0123 & P-0122 codes, replaced my APPS for $400. 00 and still have the P-0123 code

Good luck!! I have searched all the forums and can find nothing that would help me diagnose why I am still getting the code!
