I recently ran my scanner on my truck.

There were no DTC's but the emisson status was yellow.

One possibility was sensors voltage, so I reset my APPS voltage using Blue Chips procedure that I downloaded.

It was at . 51VDC, after following Blue Chips download it is now at . 57VDC.

I haven't run the scan again, will do it when I get home from work today.

Does this sound in the ballpark? The truck runs fine and seems to idle smoother and shifts fine.

Let me know what your expierence has been.

Thanks,

Chuck

I changed my APPS to a heavy duty micro switch from Radio Shack. Had to build a platform to mount the micro switch on, but it has been running for 15k + miles.

Look back about 3 years and ther were a couple of us experimenting as to what the APPS is.

READY

It is an On / Off switch. An $800 on / off switch.
