I need a new APPS. Is this a dealer only item or does anyone know of a aftermarket source?

I'm not aware of an aftermarket one, but there are some folks on the TDR who have created a better replacement. Not sure if they ever decided to mass produce. I bought my replacement from the dealer for about $400.

Timbow here on the TDR is who you want to contact. I believe he has come up with a reasonable and very dependable fix for this problem.

I have not used one my self, but I have seen a lot of posts on this site about TIMBO and the good luck people have had with his new part.

Don't buy the DC replacement APPS. Contact Timbo for his APPS/adapter cable and save yourself about $400 bucks.
