ok i understand that this has been beat to death but I have spent many hours and many diff fixes for the lock unlock issue cleaned and add grounds, separated wires, bypassed the pcm W/ the ecm wire, wrapped wires with foil, and the problem has come back every single time #@$%! other post always seem to end with someone having the problem fixed, me not so much. Im thinking now apps?? i dont have any other symptoms from the apps and I have checked and reset it a few times. what else can i do? Im at a loss I hate to just chuck money at things.

Have you tried replacing the alternator yet?

There's a theory that the electrical noise causing this problem originates from the alternator due to worn brushes or weak diodes. Under this theory, all of the popular fixes are mere bandaides and don't solve the root cause. It makes sense but I don't know if it's true.

Thankfully replacing the alternator with a BRAND NEW ONE (not a rebuild) is relatively inexpensive. You can buy a new one on eBay for only $129. I have one of these on my truck and it works great...

NEW ALTERNATOR DODGE RAM

Worst case it if doesn't help the problem, you have a new alternator on your truck and a an old spare!

Have you looked at you batteries? Mine started to deteriorate and started to give me weird lock/unlock issue's. Specially when it started to get colder and the grit heaters started to do their thing. Just the extra demand from the heaters made them start acting strange, both cat eyes still showed green. Replaces batteries, all is well. I swear some days that DC hired all the Lucas Electric engineers it could find. Electrical, front end, transmission, the pleasures of driving a Dodge.

They make the best parts, just look at the Jaguar sitting dead in my garage due to their high quality electronics, that I can't get any longer.

Has anyone advised you on trying DTT noise filter? You can call them for a price. 1-866-504-4002 If anything ask them about your problem and the noise filter.
