weve got a couple of 2001. 5 duallys that have started making a popping or creaking noise in the front end when braking or turning , but only when loaded. ive read about this somewhere. thanks . rk

can the popping also be felt in the floor under your feet??my is more of a tapping and greater when empty and between 10-50mph. i have checked every where underneath and cant find whats causing it. not a real hard tap,,just very annoying,,and every little imperfection in the road is when it happens. i might have to break down and let the dealer look at it,(kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth).

at first i thought it was coming from the hitch, but the more i listened the more it sounded like a mount or spring that was popping. squeaks and rattles dont bother me too much unusual sounds from underneath do.
