Weight Distribution Hitch?

I was traveling through LaGrande Oregon and got a tour of the Arctic Fox Factory. They do appear to be made extremely well, insulated great, and designed for off pavement use. ALSO THEY APPEAR TO BE THE ONLY TRAILER that one can get a built in generator. Any comments from you experts? I'm looking at a 27' Now I know that size will limit where I go, but I'm not looking at the Rubicon. Also - what about twin beds INSTEAD of a queen? It sure looks like you get a whole lot more useable room all around with the twin, and especially if you take a buddy, And the only hunting buddy that I want sleeping with me has yellow fur!

I to am impressed with Artic Fox. If I was in the market for a new rig I would look at them. Five years ago we bought a Automate that is made here in calif. They will custom make about anything you want or add all the bell and whistles on their std models. We toured their plant and was very impressed. I believe Artic Fox has a wood frame while Automate has alum tubing. One thing that I wish I would have ordered was 16in rims and tires. Oh well next time.

The Arctic Fox line is indeed, from everything I've heard, an excellent product. Generators are not an uncommon option on 5vers, however. You can also order them "generator ready" - this lets you add the generator later to a front compartment or, optionally, makes it easier to plug into a Honda-type generator sitting in the back of the truck.

Fox is an excellent line, like Sunnybrook, I could not find an unhappy owner :D. For us it came down to floorplan choices and aluminum vs wood, but I think I would have been equally pleased with a Fox.

Ken should be here any minute to give you his thumbs up on Fox. :-laf

Check profile.

This is our 2nd AF

The y2k had 34k hub miles when we traded last month.

You can get the larger ( over 24 ft ) 5ths with a factory installed 4k Onan for 2500 $. I am installing a 7k Onan in mine this week. Takes a little more fabricating as the 7k Emerald is larger than the 4k. It was just the excuse I needed to get a new mig welder, chop saw, grinder.....

Ours is gen and solar ready.
