Are AGR steering box a good up grade ?

Warranty replaced my steering box @15K now 5K later I think it's going out again (starting to get sloppy again)has anyone replaced their factory steering box with an AGR box and how do you like it ? (2001. 5 HO 6spd) Thanks

I'm on my second AGR box. The first one they sent was no good. This one tends to get sloppy like the factory box, but a quick adjustment is all it needs. The quick ratio of the box is nice, but it isn't any stronger than the stock one. I even went with their super pump! The worst thing is their customer service is for the birds. I had to call a dozen times to get my core $$ back! I've read that others had similar experiences... ... . but who else modifies our boxes??? The decision is yours ultimately, maybe you'll have better luck. Todd

One month so far on my AGR. It's doing good. Yeah, like he said. They did get me a steering pump real fast, though, after I discovered I needed one too, not just the steering gear.

I have had mine for 18 months now and love it, no problems with custemer service or the product works great even with the 36" X14. 5 tires.

I didn't get thier box but I did have goodservice around a pump install.
