From the way I understand it, DC is just slowing the emissions down. Like for example, EPA2027 might not happen.

Will deletes be legal? As of right now, it is still illegal. I don't know, no one knows except for the EPA/CARB.

With that being said, I'm hoping focus will get back on the diesel bandwagon for folks to transition from EV to diesel for better emissions and vehicle longevity. Along with more emphasis on biodiesel and renewable diesels. Yes, that also includes gassers with E85.

I'm also hoping there will be more oil drilling and the Keystone to be built and lessen our dependence on rare earth metals for EVs.

i have read that the emissions standards are going back to 2020. also saw television interview on fox business where epa head also said 2020. now that congress is on another vacation, rest assured, nothing will happen soon. they will do these " revisions " via CRA . congressional review acts.

cheers! :)

unless the Fed Guvmint repeals the Clean Air Act, this discussion is just nonsense because the people who would be able to do it are bogged down trying to write one big beautiful bill while someone else engages in talking about on again off again tariffs so I wouldn't hold my breath..
