Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) are chrysler reman trans better than origional

I have heard some mixed things but I have heard pretty consistently that the reman trans that chrysler is supplying to replace failed 47's is better than the original, is there any truth to this?

If you are going to get a new transmission, go to DTT, GB, Sun Coast or ATS. SNOKING

well at some point I will build a trans, but chrysler replaced my trans this year with a reman, this is why i ask

My first transmission from Dodge lasted exactly 70,000 miles. Rebuilt by Dodge and lasted exactly 70,000. Seals went both times. GB installed and still working fine! I would say that same parts, same lifetime.
