Another Ford 6.0 Post

May not be right forum...

Everytime I see a Ferd with a Cat license plate on the front I have to laugh. Got me wondering if Cummins owners are dog people. I myself prefer dogs over cats. Also from what I've heard a lot of those C7's are as troublesome as the powerjokes.

I've got:

one 70 lb bordie collie/basset hound mix (strong, but no brain!)

one 19 lb male tomcat (dog doesn't mess with him!)

one little 8 lb female cat (the Queen) that governs over both others

Well, I'm sure you can figure it out from my tag name.

Remember: Dogs have masters ... . cats have staff.

OOOooh, I had a staff infection once. Those are nasty and can only be treated with antibiotics :-laf :-laf :-laf

Dog person checkin in here: Wiemeraner and a Golden.

Bandit - 6 year old tri-color Sheltie male

Annabelle - 1 year old sable and white Sheltie female

Biddle - 10 year old 20 lb black tomcat fully loaded (as far as claws are concerned, anyway. ) He runs the place (yes, we're his housekeeping staff) but Annabelle hasn't figured that out yet. A few more swats to the snout might just do it!

Cat.

I like the quote by actor (Deniro?) in the movie "Meet the Parents" He told his soon to be son-in-law ( Ben Steller) why cats are better'n dogs. I wish I could recall what exactly it was. Something about dogs are happy to get whatever attention they recieve and will love you regardless. Cats, on the otherhand, require that the OWNER earn the CAT's love/respect. It was profound what ever it was... ... ... ... . true too.

Think about it -- in nature big cats are way cooler than dogs. Wouldn't you rather be a lion, tiger, leopard or cheetah than a hyena or dingo? Its the same on a smaller scale. You gotta respect a cat for being a critter that's his own man, as opposed to dogs, who are basically yes men always trying to suck up to the boss.

The UFO that crashed at area 51 had beings in it. They disguised themselves as house cats and we have been taking care of them since then!!

I'm guessing mostly dog people...

think about it...

Dogs are helpful, reliable, and always happy to see you :)

Cummins are low maintaenence, reliable, and always ready to go! :)

I figure 6. 0 powerstroke owners are primarily cat owners :p

Here are my babies,no kids yet but these will do for now. Both are pure breed American bulldogs, the male(Wrigley-brown one,22 months)is 115+lbs,real mamma boy,i can flip him over on his back in a chair and hold him like a baby if i want to,very loving/trusting dog and justs like to be with you(wife-more than me). Bailey the other one is my girl(100lbs+),a real truck dog, just loves to ride with me in my cummins, even when i'm turning wrenches on it she is more than happy to just sit in it hoping that i may take her for a spin. There has been alot of late night drives around the block after working on my truck just to keep her happy(personal plate reads buldogg named after her cause she PULLS LIKE A CUMMINS :D ). She just turned 8yrs old on the 16 Jan,very stubborn breed,food/good dog cookies as i call it cures most problems. They don't care for stangers much and have a job around here,to watch over there home/truck and protect us. Funny thing is when i don't want to answer the door to a stranger i send the bulldogs---don't get any Mormons/JW or sales people knocking on my door to often. Hope you like ---reguards---DW---PS Note the drool hanging from the white dog, thats bullsnot/drool that i clean from my canopy window after a ride, stuff almost like glue, sticks real good to glass :-laf :-laf :-laf

My dog Max

Max came from the pound and has been one of the best dogs I have ever had. He has several thousand miles racked up riding in the back of the truck.

Cat people?

I can't tell you how many times I've read...

"Gut the cat"

"Got rid of the Kitty"

"Cat delete"

and so on on this site.

Question answered.

:Ahhhh..... Wasn't THAT dog in the movie "Men in Black"!!?? How much did they pay him? LOL

As a matter of fact, he was in that movie! I can't say how much $$ he got paid, but read my signature about " The Toy"... :-laf :D

Can't resist a chance to post a pic of the pups. Thats Scotch in the back, 'One Eyed Jack' in the front, and me.

Dual EE: He has several thousand miles racked up riding in the back of the truck
. So does Scotch, he actually hates to ride in the cab.

I really don't like cats, the little rats are always coughing up hair balls and kicking kitty-litter all over the place. Plus they'll scratch the heck out of your foot when you step on them in the dark. :-laf
