Could the right brake pull be something other than calipers?

Today I pulled a good load (18450 LBS gross) in some good hills. Going up said hills, My EGTs would not go over 750 Post turbo even when I pulled the engine down at WOT. I wonder if my computer is feeding my truck enough. Short of searching out a Dyno, how would I be able to tell. This is the heaviest load I have pulled so far and it handled it well except in the hills when the boost would fall off. These are not long hills 1/4 to 1/2 mile but many cars can not hold their speed b/c of the sharp inclines.

Sounds about right, mine is post turbo and highest temp I have seen in summer towing 19400 gross is 800. bg

that is about right for a stock engine at low altitudes. Dodge has the engines cut back so they are just about idiot proof, that is why no factory egt gauge. not knowing what rpm, what gear and boost: cant guess why boost dropped when pulling a hill unless the computer started defuling due to running up on the governor.

I think the boost fell off b/c of RPM loss. When I shifted down and got the RPMs back up the boost would go back to about 19LBS. The only time the truck has been back to the dealer, I noticed a lack of power. The C-clip that holds the waste-gate actuator had broke and I did not have a functioal waste gate. The tech said the lack of power came from the computer de-fueling the engine to keep it from grenading. What boost does the ECM recognize as dangourous?

Keep in mind the exhaust has cooled by the time it gets to your probe. 750 post, at full boost could be around 1100 pre turbo!
