Are the 7psi carter pumps noisy when mounted by the tank? I tried relocating my stock pump back there and it was too noisy. I still am not happy with my pressure. My new lift pump can be pulled down to 5psi with comp on. There has to be a solution to this that doesnt have any drawbacks. If we can put people in space you would think we could reliably supply 8psi fuel pressure to our little 6's. It not really asking that much.

My pusher-pump is rubber mounted, I can't hear it when the truck is running, then again, I have stacks, I can't hear much of anything. :D

Define noisy........

I mounted mine on a rubber block and it hangs on the three rubber bushings and you can still hear it. Kind of a low hum. My trucks a rattle trap any way with all the junk I carry so it is hardly noticeable. Once moving you don't hear it at all.

I'll try and come up with something better when I do the old ladies 02. Saw some anti vibration pads for machinery the other day. Possibly cut some blocks out of that.
