Was just reading a post that mentioned RAM has the learning your driving habits computer etc. I also read some time ago , if a vehicle is equipped with that, pulling a particular fuse will reset the learning curve.

Any of this true?

TIA.

On the Challenger 5.7 Hemis, it's fuse #2 that you pull to reset the computer. I would assume that on a Ram with the same engine, the fuse would also be the same.

I guess I have not fooled around with a truck to see for sure but, there is a routine in the scan tool to reset the adaptive memory. I would have to look at the data in the controller and then kill the power and then look at the data again to be sure it is in a volatile memory spot and has been reset. The older engine controllers lost the adaptive memory when power was lost, but have not confirmed it on a new truck or car.

Wish mine would hurry up and learn about my driving so I can get an extra nap in while driving to and from work. I keep saying that this new truck does just about everything! :-laf :-laf
