Are there better rear brake calipers available to fit a 2003 SRW 4X4 3500 on the stock discs that don't use plastic pistons? I got a slight squeak that only shows up , slow speed ,when the brake is not applied, it goes away when the brakes are applied. Sometimes its barely notable other times it gets annoying , ( when everything is real hot , I think) The shop says I need new calipers, because one has its pistons not retracting enough.

Stick with it, the what you call platic is far better then the old metallic pistons. Because no rusting.
Complete Calipers cost around 70$ at Rockauto so it's a no brainer.
