VW had a prototype 2 seater that was built out of carbon fibre that got just over 200 mpg during testing in Europe. It sure looked expensive to build though.

I have always wanted to put a tdi engine in a vigillante. I don't think that 155mpg would be possible but 70-80 should be easily doable. Welcome to the home of the VIGILLANTE
