... like a couple of nights ago when I saw my buddys 1/2 ton wanna be red truck. I asked him " that thing gotta Hemi?", you know , like the commercial, he replies with a crap eating smile,"sure does!", I just frowned and said " too bad! " :-laf

Long time no talk. Got a question for ya as you are a moderator. I tried to reply to this thread with an answer that was only 4 characters long(Yup!) and it would't let me post it because it was less than 10 characters long. When did this happen?

Oh and by the way, in the last issue of the TDR on page 15 I think, there is a picture of my truck. It's in black and white but its still there. Its the one with all the lights.

But I come across that problem on several boards, I just type in a bunch of dots at the beginning and let it go at that, might be asked in the last forum here, i'm sure Steve or someone else could answer that quickly!

Yep, with the cooler weather I've got it up to 2 stories again. It was 35 degrees today and it was getting soft but it held until the sun went down.

I saw your rattletrap in the last rag issued. (Rag is a term of endearment, really!) Yours was a colour picture which was nice but it was a long, long way away. At first I thought it was a dummyMax but after getting out the magnifying glass, I could see it was indeed a Cummins.

<grin> I bought my 99 2500 CTD QC SB 4x4 a little over 3 years ago. Dad had bought his 99 3500 gasser 2wd new. I had it over on the farm right after I bought, and left the keys in it during cherry harvest as a runner truck.

I had to chuckle at Dad. He had to run up to my brother's orchard for a few things, and had to downshift on the two track. He was going too fast at an idle!

If it has the 4. 7L POS in it, hope you don't have it for long, one I had to rent a while back only got like 12. 5 MPG on the highway!! Put like $340 of gas in it over two days and 1100 miles!#@$%!
