2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Are you kidding...51" Donaldson?

I have read several threads on a QUIET muffler on a 4" system. When I called a local RV shop about installing a BD exhaust brake and BD 4" Stainless Steel exhaust I worried about drone pulling a heavy 5'er. When I mentioned the 51" Donaldson they doubted the clearance issues. They also said it would probably cost alot to make it fit, and if it didn't I would be out the cash.

Has anyone installed this combination under 2002 3500?

The body is 9" in diameter and 48" long... the 51" length includes the inlet and outlet...

Yes, this works fine. I have a 51" Nelson (same muffler) under my 03 dually. There were no issues in getting to fit.

I have one on my truck as well... empties in front of the RR tire. Lots of room to fit it up.
