I went to pay my insurance bill online this morning, they had a special number to call for the 5/13 NE,KA,IW hail storm on their site already.

We've been getting alot of hail in the area this spring, that's why the number was already up. Been able to miss it so far, but this one caught me sleeping, literaly.

Kat,
How bad is yours. Mine got both doors in at least one spot. Missed my quad doors though. Hood and roof are awful, couldn't stand to count them all, on back edge of roof I actually have a crease and missing paint, so much for paintless dent removal. Surprisingly my dually fenders survived. You can see in the dust where they hit but no cracks or scratches.
What a way to start the day.

I haven't looked yet to be honest. I came home and went to bed pretty much. Downtown I didn't really see very big ones, maybe golfball sized at most. But I didn't get out there till bout 10 mins after it started cuz I was busy at work. Figured nuthing I can do bout it, so why worry bout it? #ad
If it dents it it dents it, just get it fixed, wondering if I can work on getting an AirBulldog Hood out of it #ad
hehe

I'll wash mine tommorrow and look it over for dents.

It could have been worse. Tornados down here pick up the truck and throw it at your house.

Sorry to hear about the hail damage. I grew up in that area, and I know that hail can really tear things up. Hope you get things fixed soon.

Sorry to hear about the hail you guys got in Omaha as the storm moved just south of me so all we got was tons of rain. I also park my truck outside (uncovered) as well. I totally agree I am really starting to not like this Nebraska weather as it seems everytime it rains the nasty hail comes with it.

Found lots of dings in my hood and cab now. Nuthing huge but if ya look they are there. Waiting for insurance guy to contact me on it.

Cracked my windshield too.

Got my ins. appraisal today. New hood, new roof, 56 hours of labor. While I didn't make highest # of dents (160), I did get the award for the biggest single dent & had 2 break the paint, first they'd seen supposedly.

I once saw a subaru on the Alaska highway that looked like it had been beat with a ball pien hammer all over it and It had no windows left. The guy was driving to Alaska and was only half way there. He stopped because the hail had melted and run in the dash and shorted the eletrical system out. Ouch. To think I get mad when I have to push the snow off mine. I hope you all have luck getting the parts replace.
Just one question... how do you replace a roof on our trucks?

Still waiting for my insurance to contact me. So no idea on mine yet. Its no where near as bad as yours tho. I don't even think I'll get a new hood, only bout 25 or so dents in mine that I could find.

The cracked windshield bugging the crap out of me because its right next to my gauge pod in my line of sight.

Anyways, hope the fix it right Eric.....

They take out the windshield and the back window, remove headliner etc. inside then peel off the skin.
Baseball size doesn't dent like a ball peen hammer. Looks more like a fist sized dent. Most of them are creased in the bottom too. That's why they're replacing parts instead of trying to pull them out.

Mine got hit too. Hood, top, right side door, and right front fender. Dually fenders and tannou cover survived.

I now have a windshield crack to add to my list. Driving back from Portland, OR last week, no one in front of me, nothing overhead, heard a "pop" and watched a crack come down directly in front of me about 3" then turn right about an inch. Since then it's gradualy grown toward the pass. side. Almost to the mirror today. :(

Finally!

Finally my insurance company called me, have to get it looked at today. The crack is annoying the heck outta me right now as well as the dents right in front of my vision on the hood.

Oh well... . as far as I can tell only the cab and hood have dents that I can see.
