CTD at Fridays

Somewhere around 10/10 (rainy evening) I was grabbing dinner at TGI Fridays in Tucson Az on Broadway. When I got back out from dinner I was happily impressed to see through the drizzle a fellow Cummins, but what I saw made me even happier was he was sporting the first ever TDR badge on a rig that I have ever seen in the wild! It was a nice rig and was parked next to mine. I thought I saw a TST sticker on there as well.





My truck is a Red extended cab long bed w/ lid and Mass plates. My TDR badge is on my grill, but this member had a TDR logo on the right side of the truck.

Spotted 12/5/03 at 8:00 a.m., Tucson

Northbound on Craycroft at River. Blue 3rd Gen 4x4 w/TDR badge on grille. Nice truck! I was in the big green Jeep waiting at the light - the truck has been parked all week while I break in the new gears in the Jeep.

Yours was the first TDR badge or decal I've seen in Tucson - besides mine, anyway. Hopefully it'll be just the first of many.

Wow. There's other TDR members in AZ? I have yet to see a single TDR sticker/emblem/etc here in AZ. If you see me I live in the east valley and have a '01 3500 4X4 silver. Have a TDR grill badge and a receiver cover (when it's not replaced with my greasy/nasty weight distribution hitch)... oh yeah, and I have a got sand sticker on the back...

My TDR emblem went missing. I think it flew off a few miles back, oh say, 5000 or so! I think I've seen you're rig a time or 2. I live out by Guadalupe/Sossaman and drive a white 01 2500 4x4 with a Nordic Powerboats sticker in the camper rear window. I'll keep an eye out for you!

Seen somebody cruising around Prescott in a red, '03 4-door 3500 w/ straight-pipe (maybe 5" all the way out!)



Gave him the thumbs-up in the mall parking lot, but was treated to a glare... that's ok... I'll see him on the road someday and give him a smoke show!

Alan - Guess we must be the only two CTDs in Tucson with TDR stickers/badges? Saw you this morning at Broadway/Pantano (you were heading north, I was stopped in the SB left turn lane).



I know there must be more Tucson TDR members... but where the heck are they?????

Dan,next time flash your lights at me. I know of a number of diesel heads in town here,I met up with Ralph in Vegas at at the hotel while at Maymadness. He tells me his buddy is the service manager at Bill Breck Dodge,we are trying to put something together at some point. Ralph tells me they would like to host a Cummins get together,I will keep you posted when something comes about.
