More or less using this as an excuse to teach myself how to post pictures here and start new threads. So my newly acquired 93' needed a new drivers door armrest (along with many other things). After scouring the internet, i found some OEM ones on eBay for around $60 to my door. It's 100% straight forward, pull the door panel off, R2 the armrest, and button everything back up. Being that it's an OEM part, the fit and finish is very good. I was lucky enough to have the base model plain grey interior so no painting was necessary. Turned out pretty good.

I had to replace the driver side arm rest in the 1990. I guess Tugboatphil leaned quite a bit to the left!

Wonder where your door carpet is. Never seen these trucks without door carpeting... ... ... ... ...

The truck came with vinyl floors, i'm converting it over to carpet. The truck also came with the factory water leaks which took a toll on the floor. It has some surface rust on the floor so i'm getting rid of all that, sealing the leak from the window, and sealing the leak in the floor vents. I'm then going roll on some bed liner then put down some sound mat material and then carpet over that. Then it's off to paint and a whole list of kinds of other stuff.

I've been sidelined with another ankle surgery so progress has been slow. Definitely going to be taking a big swing at it this summer. Paint/body, new springs, wheels/tires, and crossover steering. That should about drain me dry.

Thanks a lot guys. It's coming a long and i'm trying to be patient. My goal is to have it done (interior/exterior) by Christmas. The fenders came yesterday, it was actually cheaper to buy new fenders then it was to clean up and straighten the ones on her now. Should be finishing up the floor this weekend and finish sealing up all the leaks. Then the exterior starts. The body is very straight, I have one crack in the grill but other than that it just needs a paint job. Going crazy during the week waiting for the weekends so i can work on her. Oo.

Well keep on chugging away! Just be sure to watch out for the "oh, I should also do... . " slope. Its very slippery! :D:-laf
