Competition ARP Headstuds??

I looked at the offerings on summit racing.com and they have two:

ARP 2000

Chromoly



Does anyone know the Tensile strength and what is the general consensus?



I'm thinking that for $10 in difference it couldn't be that much a performance gain between the two.

The Summitt catalog is incorrect... . All ARP studs for our cummins are ARP 2000 and are rated at 220,000. We are working on some better material studs by ARP but they will be around twice the cost as the standard ARP 2000 versions.

Doug is correct , all ARP Cummins head studs are ARP 2000 material. with a strength of 220,000 at 75% yield torque.

Part number, 247 4203 for the 12 valve

247 4202 for the 24 valve and CR

O. k... And I read the post about the new studs a while back JP. . IT sounds the ticket for a full on race rig... I'm just trying to patch my bustedass rig back together with upgraded materials while i'm in there.
