less than two weeks before indy my boost has been creeping down, egts creeping up ...

today i 1)adjusted valves ... 1 hour and it needed it anyway

2) swapped out the highflow afe for a bhaf ... lost 4lbs boost

so i know its not loose valvetrain or bad airfilter

i want to make/get a plug to plug off the boot at the outlet side of the turbo and boot at the inlet side of the intake, install a tire valve and pressure the hoses and intercooler up to 40 psi and listen for leaks

so what are the diameters of the plugs i need ?

rough measurement looks like 3" anyone know?

sounds like the same thing thats happening to me. someone said there was a diagram somewhere on here, i havent had a chance to do a search have you?

mine were 3" ...

lid from a maxwell house instant coffee jar fit perfect

put a tire valve in and 20psi later ... found a leak at passenger side intercooler boot

also found a leak at the wastegate hose, it fell off the actuator when i checked it with my fingers

temporarily plugged off the wastegate ... truck runs the best it ever has ... and it dyno'd 505 when the turbo was new

blew a freshly cleaned and installed turbo boot the first time i turned the box on ...

after two months it was the happiest BOOOM i've ever heard
