I am considering a 22 GQ Artic Fox Travel Trailer. For those that have trailers by this manufacturer, is the quality worth the extra cost. The layout of these smaller units is excellent. They come with all the extras and are supposed to be better constructed.

I am very pleased with my Arctic Fox 5er and was worth the money. Their service has been excellent also. I have called the factory on several occasions for advice or parts, and they shipped repair parts to me under warranty free of charge so that I didn't need to take it to the dealer for a simple fix.

Mom/Dad are happy so far with their '99 25r Artic Fox that has been to Alaska and back to Oregon with only 1 flat tire.

I looked at the Artic Fox when we were looking for a trailer and I thought they were very well made and like you said they have a good floor plan. What I liked about it also was the checker plate on the front so that you would not get any damage from rocks or other stuff that flys through the air. Buy quality, it will sell faster if you ever have to unload it. I bought a 24' Bigfoot for the same reasons you want to buy the Artic Fox.

We bought ours because of the quality. We had narrowed it down to the Road Ranger or the Arctic Fox. We bought the Arctic Fox because the kitchen was in the front and not in the middle. We figured that if the kitchen was in the middle we would always be in the way of the boss while she was taking care of us. The last thing that anyone should want to do is get the cook PO'ed. All joking aside, it has really worked out well for us. We have had our unit for 2 years now. Service has been outstanding, comfort is more than we had expected.

We travel mostly to camp and hunt. Have spent many days in snow, hail, and rain. The insulation in this unit also had a great deal to do with why we bought it. Even the slide out is insulated ( walls, roof, and floor ).

Would I recommend an Arctic Fox? Emphatically, yes. I feel that it is the best bang for your buck. We love it and can't wait to get out on the road again.

I bought a new 24-5N 5er in 99. I have towed it approx 16K miles and usually spend about 2 months on the road annually. I have never had a warranty write up. Very high quality and comfort. I would recommend ARCTIC FOX,over all the many trailers I have seen.

I now a few who have the desert fox (toybox version) and have never had a problem. I would own one if they would ever build a toybox 5er.

The neighbor has an Artic Fox. He mentioned build quality and extra insulation for cold weather climates. He's extremely happy with it.

Thanks for all the replies. I am headed to Little Rock this week to look at them and hopfully I will order one. No one in Louisiana will carry them.
