My 2001 Cummins truck will be made in Mexico. My 99 2500 with V10 was built in St. Louis. I was glad it was built in the USA, and then had quite a few problems with the truck.

My question..... Are there any patterns in problems with regard to the place of manufacture? Are the trucks built in Mexico doing OK?

This might seem like a foolish question, but is seems most wish their truck to be built in America.

Mine was built in St. Louis, but only has one problem. THE PAINT! I can see sheet metal through it in the sunlight! It's disgusting, pay d*mn near 40 grand and get cheated on paint.

Do you have a build date yet, Gordon? I know the last day for the St. Louis plant is June 8. If you don't mind my asking, when did you order it?
