Attention: TDR Forum Junkies A friend has a (gasp) GMC with an electric operated bed cover thats on the fritz. The phone # for RoyalStar Industries Inc is not good (817 area code - Ft Worth area). The unit is on a 85 and need wiring info. Can anyone assist? Tried all kinds of ways to see if the mfgr is still in business and no luck. The control unit has "TRNK-N-TRUNK" on it and the wiring is a "mess". It also has a tool box over it in the bed with a light the full length ("GMC" on it). Anyone with info can e-mail or ???
The phone # on the control unit goes to a private home, now. Tried BBB, City & County and all over the 'net w/o any luck. (wish persons would keep papers for the items they add-on) The lid is "stuck" 1/2 open (or 1/2 closed) and unable to figure the wiring out. Looks like pink wire should be hot but then red might be also, soooo HELP!
