Here I am

At operating temperature '03 H/O engine shutters and stumbles when leaving a traffic light.

Momentary power lost

Cooling system questions

The stumbling is for a couple of seconds, then truck starts off normally at good power up to as fast as
you want to drive it. It cranks and starts very good. The longer you sit at the traffic light the more stumbling and shuttering it has. no problem on steep grades. Gets better than average fuel mileage, 25-26 mpg on country roads where your speed is not in excess of 65 mph, truck is all stock with 184,000 miles.

A friend suggested it might be the torque converter, but the recovery is too quick.

That was one of the symptons my 07 had, see (PO606 Code above) you say sitting at lights longer seems to make it worse?
could injectors dumping to much fuel be the cause?

10 or 12 days ago I put about 22 ounces of Diesel Kleen in the tank at fill up time, the shuddering at the traffic
lights were shortened. This past week it happened only once. This is city driving. I have not noticed any smoke
during the intervals. I still think it is fuel delivery failing at some point, mabe the pressure in the fuel rail is dropping or the black electrical device at the CP3 pump, fuel actuator? It may be that I was using B20 too long before I found out about it. The pumps only have
a small white sticker low on the pump. I watch for it now.
I'll see how it goes for awhile, meantime I'll keep using the Diesel Kleen. Will advise.

Any Updates?

Occasionally I have had the same problem.Mine is definitely engine. No smoke, just rough idle. Similar computer calculated mileage . Hand calculated 23. Running Fass Titanum now but was doing same prior to change. 110,000.
With either pump, going up very steep grades, the engine acts as if I briefly turned the ignition key off and immediately bake on. This is a very rare occurrence.
2500, HO, Auto, 2wd.

Fuel tank level has no affect on “ignition off on” problem.

Thanks for your replies, I still have the problem. If I never drove in town with traffic lights I'd never know the difference,
but I live in a large town and I am tired of the stumbling. Will let you all know the fix, I plan to take it to the dealer, I just wish
it would generate a failure code to simplify the diagnosis.

25-26 mpg on country roads? Never sell it after you find the issue. Hand calculated?
Our Honda Pilot barely gets 18 mpg in town.
Yes, I do the hand calculation for comparison, always off a few tenths. Stock Michelin tires, all stock 4x4, speed 65 mph and under, Delo 400
15w40 lube oil. Truck burns fuel cleanly, at 10,000 miles the oil is clear enough that you can read the writing on the stick, I change it at this point. I pulled a heavy trailer once, it got 17 and some few tenths from Jax to below Orlando at 65 mph.

What transmission, auto or manual? At that age replacing the FCA (black thing on the CP-3) is a good place to start. A an additive regimen with cleaner and lube is also a good idea since you saw a change using it.
