AT REVO Tires FYI

In case anyone was interested, Bridgestone finally released their Dueler AT REVO in the stock size/load range E. I can't wait to get a set on my truck. Hopefully before winter sets in.

Mark do they have these in a 285?

I went to 3 different sites to see the available sizes. Looks like for a 17 inch rim, your options are non-existent for a size over a 265 as all 3 sites listed the same sizes for availability. But tons of people seem to really like them. I put a set on my mom's durango (31x10. 5R15), and on my taco (265/75R16). Best all around AT out there, IMO. Awesome in snow and rain, and great in the dry. Quiet and wear well, plus damn good off road traction for an AT. If only they made them in larger sizes...

My 02 gasser was able to melt the stock tires off, in fact thats what I did on the way to the tire store I got the REVO's and all that TQ made it down to the pavement, the only way i could get those to break loose was to turn a tight corner and floor it.

Thanks for the tip! I've been doing some research lately on tires. Almost had it down to the Toyo M-55. These tires sound like the right ticket for me.

Where would one get the best deal on these (Washington state)?

Discount can get them, and they will price match anyone. Costco had a better price, but Discount beat it. I got mine because the Pathfinder tires (Discount's generic brand) I had would do nothing but spin in the rain on the hills downtown, even with 2nd gear starts. I litterly had to put it in 4wd to take off if there was any paint left on the crosswalks... Not anymore with the Revos.

Also noticed in the link to 1010 tire that they now have available the Toyo MT in 295/70r17 load range E.

When I put REVOs on my Tundra two years ago, the local BF Goodrich shop turned out to be cheaper than any of the online tire places and that included balancing. The catch is availability. Back then, 265 75/16s were on national backorder and I had to go with 285s.

For what it's worth, Bridgestone will not sell to Costco effective Jan '07. So this will mean that if you have a warranty issue you will have to go elsewhere. I do not think any other tire store will honor Costco's road hazard warranty. And Bridgestone's warranty does not cover road hazards.
