Thanks, TDR Staff

Off Roading Roush/Arctic Cat/Lombordini diesel ATV

Competition clipping the water pump

12. 64@105. 89 backed up with a 12. 68@105. 34. Launching in 4wd at 12psi. Anymore than that and it breaks all 4 tires loose. :D

Congrats!... Looks like its running good! I'm curious what did it run with the 3. 55's? Did you have the same mods when we swapped axles?

Thanks,

deo

When I ran the truck after installing the 4:10s it actually went slower. Adding the injectors, turbo, and Catcher brought the numbers where they are now.

My gut tells me it would be faster with the 3:54s... . wanna swap back? :-laf

I thought it would be faster with teh 355s. . I just swapped my 3. 07 axles into my '92 5spd truck. I hop ethat pulls good. . should be sweet. .

Keep up the good work. Maybe I'll see ya at the Seafood Meet?

thanks,

Deo

nice #'s, i need a little help in this area, my truck was just dynoed at fall brawl and i was happy with the numbers but would really love to know what it will do at the track and now that winters approaching wont be able to find out until spring. this may sound stupid but here it goes, with an auto do you race with the overdrive off and do you shift from second to third manually or do you just start off in drive. any help would sure help . . thanks

Overdrive is on and it's left in drive. No shifting manually.

What are your numbers from the dyno?

Cecil is open until Dec. weather permitting ;)

In fact, I will probably be there next Fri. night (11/10) if you want to stop by ;)

my numbers were 570/1138, you probably remember my truck at fall brawl it was a black dodge with yellow cummmins stickers on the window,, lol it looks like a old farm truck. lol u know a sleeper. Im gonna see if i could make it to the track on friday, the truck does have nos, but solenoid was broke at the fawl brawl so couldnt see what the numbers would have been with that. its only a single stage with a 120 in it. but cant wait to see track numbers . . any guess? thanks for the help guys

Yeah, I remember :D

I run 12. 7-12. 8 on fuel at 7500-7800 lbs. and did 564 at Fall Brawl, so you should be right around there Oo.

Biggest thing at the track though is going to be more about how it spools, hooks at the line and shifts down the track ;) Do you have any Torque Converter control?

Hope to see you there!! :D

yes, i have a bd converter lock up switch. its locks the coverter up at 18mph, soo i really have to be into the pedal if im gonna start in drive,, it wants to lug a little otherwise. Now if i start off in second its much better, drawback is i have to shift manually. With the drugs do think it knocks off a half second or soo off your time. single stage 120. thanks

i thought they were too good for the diesel crowd... ... .....

 Where did you hear that Wade?? I race there all the time. There are a min. of 5-6 diesel trucks there evrytime they are open. Or is that just an excuse not to show up and get your ***** handed to you!! :-laf

That's good!!! I run a BD TorqLoc also :D When you are boosted at the launch, it won't lug and you want it locked as soon as possible;)

Is that a 0. 120 jet or a "120 shot"? Becaust the gasser "shot" size doesn't correlate to diesels! ;) I gain 7-8 tenths with two 0. 070 jets ;)

sorry ,, yeah a o. 120 jet, well i lied its a . 55 thats drilled out but compared it to the 0. 120 jet and its close . Someone told me to take the jet right out and run it but not sure if thats a good idea. Hey by the way does your lock up shut down by itself when you hit your speed its set for or do you have to turn it off manually. Like i said before mine comes on at 18mph when i hit the switch but will not turn off when i decelerate to 18 ,, i have to shut if off by hitting my switch. . Is this normal or was it hooked up wrong . the guy that installed it said that was how it should be. thanks

My experience has been that you don't want the jet to be larger than the solenoid ;) I would not recomend just taking out the jet. There is a lot more to nitrous than just the amount you inject ;)

Yes, mine unlocks by itself. If the BD TorcLoc is wired right, it should lock when you are above the set speed and unlock when you are below it.

hmmm, guess i better get it looked at. cause right now it really wakes me up when forget to shut it off and stop for a light or police car lol. thanks
