Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) At what temp should the fan come on?

I don't think I've ever heard my fan come on. What temp should it come on at?



In the forums I've read that when it comes on you can't miss it. Can you hear it over the bigger louder exhaust also?

You can't miss it when it kicks in no matter how loud your exhaust is. Mine have only kicked in a handful of times in eight years at 210°

You will not miss it for sure!!

I have 104k and have only had the fan lock up 100%, like 2 or 3 times and 1 was with winter front on, late in spring. Really just to test the fan to see if it really works and it does.
