ATF Fluid

I e-mailed AMSOIL about the rating of their ATF fluid, it didn't seem to me that it meet the Chrysler+3 spec. This is what they said: "AMSOIL has just introduced an Automatic Transmission Fluid specifically for Chrysler. It meets all ATF+ series specs. , including ATF+3. Order as product code ATE. It is priced the same as AMSOIL ATF.

Here are some specs for the Amsoil ATF you mentioned.

ATF+4 Synthetic fluid is specifically for Chrysler Automatic Transmissions built after 1997. It exceeds the performance specifications for Chrysler ATF+, +2, +3, +4; MS-7176 A, B, C, D & E; MS-9602 A.



Kinematic Visc @100 C. ,cSt7. 5 Requirement 7. 3-7. 8

Pour Point C/F -51/-60 Requirement-40 min.

Brookfield @-40 C, cP 7730 Requirement<10,000

Glad to see "AMSOIL" introduce the ATF+4 Auto Fluid. Now my truck can enjoy the benifits of Synthetics everywhere. Will be changing to it at the next scheduled fluid change, this spring.
