Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
This is the first new mod to my truck in many months, and it was well worth it!!!
Today I had the ATP engine blankets installed by the super-friendly folks at ATP in Santa Ana, CA. All I can say about the result is WOW!! A VERY nice improvement to my truck. The sound level inside and outside the cab is significantly reduced, and yet it still sounds just like a diesel and sounds awesome.
The scream of the HX-40 has been reduced to a pleasant whistle, and the tinny quality of the ISB has been muffled. It's now possible to actually HEAR the stereo at a normal volume level and hold a conversation with a passenger without raising your voice.
Overall, I'm VERY impressed with it. The quality of the product is top-notch and looks really slick. I got the full treatment -- oil pan cover, valvecover cover, manifold/turbo cover, downpipe cover, and underhood cover (please note that my stock hood liner is now for sale in the Classifieds for you 2002 owners).
