Well I worked most of the day installing the new three piece manifold. For all of you that have this in mind here a few hints. The pyro sensor is real easy to install as the left two small flat surfaces on the center piece that are perfect for drilling. I drilled the hole in three stages real slow and tapped with a 1/4" - 18 pipe thread, Then I had to chase the threads where the turbo studs go as the manufactured did not get these deep enough. Heated the center section to 500 deg. in the oven for thirty minutes, as per instructions, and froze the end sections over night and the thing went together really easy. Used the stock manifold as a jig. Chucked it up in a vise and made sure the surfaces were flat and sat the center section on it and dropped two bolts through the holes. They are a lot larger than the bolts so you have to kinda dangle them in the center when you fit the end pieces on. If you are real careful and a bit lucky you'll come out right on. I left the assembled unit cool while i had lunch and it went right on like it was made for it. I did have to chase the threads in the head as they were pretty rusty. I took out the passenger side battery and the filter box and tube. sure glad I did as the rear bolts are hard to get at Thanks to all the good TDR bunch for all their suggestions, it really helped.
