Twins are almost done!

Full B1 vs STEROID B1

anyone know about this i talked to them and basically i don't know the specs on it but it's a high dollary beast that's for sure. They said u need another additional lift pump in order to make it work like it should. The guy also said they sold 3 already that day. So i'm wondering what exactly this is gonna provide hp wise. I couldn't believe that the fass couldn't be enough to work in conjunction with it. Like i said i'm not totally sure what it all involves and didn't even know it was becoming available. I hope somebody from ats chimes in and schools me down on this issue thanks.

Keep looking for that little extra moolie, you are going to need every little bit you can squeeze out of that Banks powered truck... lol

no need for all that

u can't stand the fact that a banks truck has been getting you all this time can u. i think it's pretty good i don't wanna be like all the others with tst and edge u know i gotta find my own groove and needless to say i'll take that pump if the advantage is worth it in my mind. HOwever i would have to get the nitro kit too so i can put them on at the same time i don't know if that is possible though but at least you know the route i'm looking at lol

What kind of #s are you 3rd gen boys putting down on #2?

Do you anticipate any issues passing emissions? My truck is registered in Gilpin which is not part of the front range emissions deal but I wonder what I would be up against if they ever decided to join that BS

My best before the twins was 593hp and 1143tq, I cant wait to see what I put down now. Good thing I live in unincorperated Adams county so I do not need to worry about emmissions. Mike

Remember moolie you may have gotten me by about 20hp but I got you by over 100 ftlbs of torque. This rivalry is starting to get expensive. . lol

just remember that 100 ft pounds doesn't mean anything if you lose in hp to the banks junk lol. Ouch that hurts and u know it. Mike are those your dynojet numbers? I have thrown down 620 and like 1100 if u go with dyno jet and i was still fueling rising when it shut down at 2900 rpm. I've always gotten my best numbers at 3100 if you go with the stp numbers which is what they used at the dyno day i had 587 and like 1063 i took that run before the twins and compared it to the top 2 runs of the dyno day they had in greeley clint and justin i believe is his name anyway i graphed them here and you can see that all of the 3 were still rising in hp when the test stopped however my torque was beginning to come down a bit. i'll post the pic i have and i'm hoping to go to the dmax dyno day and break them off and i heard that one of these 2 folks will be there. (wonder who) anyway there would be nothing better than going over there 2 big black trucks like a couple of bully's.

my curve

i think what impressed me the most was not that i was somewhat close but the power curve or lack there of i produced. That's practically straight up and down as close as i've seen anyway i know there are probably a lot more out there but just of the ones i've looked at i was impressed that in like 100 rpm range i managed to increase like over 200 hp i believe i can't even remember but from 2400 to 2500 it seems to rock hard. Others have driven it and they said it drives kind of strange but i don't mind. I know that on a dyno jet i managed to do 579 with the xcellerator only and before on the jet i was putting 592 with the banks stuff and the xcell. So i added almost 100 hp to just the xcellerator. I stated that when i took the chance with ppe they claimed such big numbers however, u can go back and read where i typed that in all fairness they dyno'd a truck with twins. Now in turn to be fair on their part that should have been stated on the advertisement. I am getting 180 at the wheels with just the xcell no that the twins are on. I am really anxious to see what it will do when we get like 50 + lbs of boost instead of that measley 32 on the dynojet.

oh yeah mike just think about this when u are dynoing tomorrow, this is the main thing you have to concentrate on. You are losing a hp battle to a man who's been in the business for a while for a bit more conservative power but also a man who's name is gale. Not crystal gale either. Doesn't that bum u out to know that. I'd be sad like if a guy named jan came out with a bad rig and slapped me around that's for sure.

yeah mike's posting his dynojet number there trying to be slick. the dyno will give u all 3 sets of numbers u get stp and sae and also dynojet numbers. Now my 587 when converted with the dyno's math was a 621 or something which is the dynojet equivelant. It also gives uncorrected hp at the wheels too. There is endless amounts of things a guy could look at, it honestly tests and reports too many things. 1 run could entertain for hours. Tomorrow i'm hoping to approach the 700 club i may not reach it but if i don't that's fine by me i'll be pretty close i'm sure. This is all done with only #2 as u guys like to call it. No drugs whatsoever on either truck. I just hope mike doesn't get scared since last time we both went and dyno'd i thought I was gonna have to tow him home afterwards... ... ... lol I know you remember that one mike. i should be able to build about 50 to 55 lbs boost no problem so i'm hoping for some huge gains. When i did the dynojet at redline last saturday i finally turned on the pressure box (sixx gun) and much to my surprise it didn't add anything at all it was rather weak about 20 more hp but smoked a ton. I couldn't figure it out at first but i realized that unable to make more then 32 lbs boost my run should be right about what it was with my single which was also getting around 32 on the dynojet. The superflow is sweet and boost building is the key to my peak hp reading since i know i need to add more air then 32 lbs. I'm curious as to how much boost can be made at our elevation. also i'm curious as to what the peak and hp increase will be and also i wanna see the curve and compare it to my single curve there. It's gonna be fun i'll tape it all of course like usual. i'll send u a video that i made from that saturday last week at redline and then i'll try to get one posted asap of tomorrow.

and mike this thing didn't have to be this expensive u know. However you do know that there is no way possible that i'm gonna sit idle while you go and add some twins to your rig there. I'm surprised u didn't run out and get this pump and try to have it secretly installed by tomorrow. I know how u operate

At this point I'm interested in the #s you guys were putting down with a single turbo. I'm sure with twins you're going to step it up. What I'm trying to figure out is what components were used to make nearly 600hp with fuel only and a single turbo? What was the correction factor that day? That's an impressive number. I'm shooting for something around 600 with a full B1 and "large" nozzles. I'm just curious how one would get there with a CR and was it streetable? Toasty? I have a couple friends with CRs and want to know what I'm up against lol.

I think mike has the TST/EZ stack with some Don M injectors, and of course a killer transmission to hold it... ANd with a Sledpuller 66, thats the 593hp run

(if my memory serves me correct)

Wow! So that combo can fuel near 600hp? Those are dynojet #s right? What correction factor? What were the #s on the Superflow at GAM's? Pretty impressive!

Well today I took my truck down to the new SuperFlo dyno in Greeley to try out these new Don M injectors, and all I can say is "WOW" these things rock. Back in February when I dynoed I was only able to muster 460hp with stock injectors if I remember right, and today my best reading was 593. 9hp and 1143. 9 torque (Dynojet numbers) and 561. 7 and 1081. 7 (SuperFlo numbers) these are corrected and I am still grinning from ear to ear. Thanks Don M for a top notch injector and Laser Bob for a great install, I cant wait to see what I put down with these new twins. Mike
So 460hp to 593hp just by swapping injectors? Don makes nice some sticks eh :-laf

Don does make make some sweet injectors I could not be happier. These trucks are very streetable you can control the smoke if you want to :-laf the ricers really do not like us very much for some reason though. Mike
