I bought one for my 05 and the fit was not right. They make this piece for the 2nd gens and say it fits the 3rds also but it doesn't.HeberRam said:Matt400, I personally don't have one on my truck 05' but have a lot of friends that have them on their 3rd. gen trucks and they never mentioned any problems?
Do you have info on this, or was there a problem early on that I may not be aware of?

You can bolt it on and make it fit as I did but found the intake end points too far forward and at the wrong angle so you have to lift the pipe that connects to it up so high that the pipe then is tight against the PS hoses, pushing those into the fuse box. It was a poor enough fit IMO to take it back off.
Someone at ATS in one of these threads mentioned another was in the makes for 3rd gens but I haven't heard of one yet.
Thats good news, ATS never posted back if they fixed the issue so I just assumed it was washed. The last I heard was this postCaveman said:The newer version of the ATS intake fits better.

Supposed to be good for better throttle response, 15hp and 30ftlb, and pre tapped for guage and water injection
