anyone using this? what kind of a difference was there? Would it be worth the cost?

Supposed to be good for better throttle response, 15hp and 30ftlb, and pre tapped for guage and water injection

THANKS

ps how does it compare to banks high ram

The wolf, I think you answered your own question. However, I doubt you will notice any performance gain soley by the seat of the pants. If you plan on future mods the pretaped stuff is cool. High quality looking part. Some that I have seen have gotten them polished.

Matt400, I personally don't have one on my truck 05' but have a lot of friends that have them on their 3rd. gen trucks and they never mentioned any problems?

Do you have info on this, or was there a problem early on that I may not be aware of?

I bought one for my 05 and the fit was not right. They make this piece for the 2nd gens and say it fits the 3rds also but it doesn't.

You can bolt it on and make it fit as I did but found the intake end points too far forward and at the wrong angle so you have to lift the pipe that connects to it up so high that the pipe then is tight against the PS hoses, pushing those into the fuse box. It was a poor enough fit IMO to take it back off.

Someone at ATS in one of these threads mentioned another was in the makes for 3rd gens but I haven't heard of one yet.

Do you have a picture?

so are they worth the money?

I already have tst, and sbc con fe, trying to get money for turbo (probably sps62, hint hint brady), fuel pump and would like possibly a cam and water/meth also.

so brady, what kind of fitment problems are you having? or did matt400 get a bad one?

Are there new ones for 3rd. gens?

Matt400, thanks for the heads up... I'm was thinking about getting one from Brady at Industrial Injection which I saw at their shop last week "polished" which looked bad. Brady or anyone else chime in to if the 3rd. gens have a fitment problem, or has that been resolved?

The newer version of the ATS intake fits better. I had one of the first set that had some issues. ATS replaced it with thenewer model. It fits good and looks good. I would suggest a Power by Poole Powerblock to go along with the intake if you live in the warmer states.

Just this one, its not that good but shows the difference in angle. When I took the pic the mounting surfaces had been lined up even.

Thats good news, ATS never posted back if they fixed the issue so I just assumed it was washed. The last I heard was this post

and was made from a run of these posts:

I hope they made one that fits at least as good as the OEM.

I would be curious if they made a compromise between the 2nd and 3rd gen to use just one casting of if there is really 2 part numbers.

Our web site is being added to on an on going basis. We carry many products that are not on there yet. The SPS 62 turbo is going to give you a much bigger increase than any intake or exhaust mods you will find. Now after saying that, is the arc flow a good product? Yes it is for several reasons. Air flow does not like sharp anything, sharp bends in the intake horn, sharp edges in the turbo intake etc. We champher our intakes on our compressor housings. We could make them faster, but it is important to pay attention to those things. The Arc Flow helps air flow. We too have seen the misalignment problem you have talked about. We have not seen such a drastic example however, We have had to massage the postitioning of the Arc Flow and the intercooler pipe. But it still is not a perfect fit. When we polish them they look great. That is the way we sell them. Polished! The new ones with the sealed bolt hole is much better with Snow water/meth. (The bolt doesn't rust) The wing on the back side is a nice addition for a clean look under the hood. Thanks

All this talk, you guy's are killin me... . this time tomorrow,"time won't go fast enough", I'll be placing a order... I've probably been driving poor Shane crazy, calling him with all my questions... . I'll be ordering your SPS 62, ATS 2 piece exhuast manifold and the ATS arch flow manifold. I've been waiting nine months, but finally will have the money for a nice breathing set up!!! It's been a slow build up for me, but will finally be happy with my set up, well except with my stocker clutch, but all in good time I guess. BrettWilliams, do you guy's have a pic of your polished arch flow manifold?

No we have not taken pictures yet, but the result is very good. That manifold polishes up very nice. We love to make package pricing. So if you want to order more products then we can make you better buys. Thanks

What else do you think I would need? I'm all ready getting the SPS 62 , ATS exhaust mainfold and the arch flow manifold... Is there anything I don't know about, maybe?

I had one, didnt dyno it, ATS claims 15 or 25 HP gain over stock. I didnt notice a difference but I never ran it without my twins.
