I have ATS stage V transmission which I just ugraded from stage IV (I stripped the splines off the stock Input shaft) My ugrade was a billet shaft and a new convertor. Before the commander would lock up the transmission real good and consistent. Now after the upgrade lock up is not consistent, sometimes the light on the commander comes on at 25mph but it will not lock up for a long time. Seams to be worse when the transmission is warmer. Lock up works best when flat cold. Any ideas???

If you have the Commander set on a lower setting IE (one of the first LED's) the ECM over rides it. It sounds like you have it on a low setting. If I had mine on a lower setting and in drive the light indicating lockup would come on but the TC would not lockup until 35 MPH, this was due to the ECM not allowing it to until then it's normal. First and second gear lockup should be different depending on where you have the "DIP" switches set at, which are located on the back of the Commander unit, and which (blue LED) you have it set at.

Let me no if I can help out further.
