ATS Exhaust manifold torque?

Dodge Manual says 32 foot lbs, whereas ATS says 50 to 55!



I'm inclined to go with the 32 value, the 55 seems awfully high, especially after looking at the bolts which are not all that big (7/16?)



Anyone else have this issue?

50 ft/lbs is good.

I go 45ft lbs with anti seize.

Plenty tight.

I just retorqued mine to 55 ftlbs. Seems as if it quieted down a little too. The stud below the collector to the rear of the engine seemed to be really loose. I think it's a 15mm and the others are 13mm.

Looking at the size of the bolts, and the spec's for this size of hardware, I'd be really leery of going above 35 ft lbs. ATS responded with 35 as well. Going to 50 plus is going to stretch out the fastner past elasticity.

Could you let us know what difference you see in EGT? I'm thinking an ATS exhaust manifold might be in my future?
