I modified the horizontal L-bracket as follows: I shortened the short leg of the L (which is parallel to the centerline of the valve cover), removing enough material with a die grinder to just remove the OE attachment hole; I then relieved approx. 1/4" along the underside of most of the long leg of the L and all of the short side for adequate clearance between the manifold 3-4/5-6 joint, redrilling a new attachment hole in the short leg of the L at a somewhat centered location (centered front to back, off center in relation to height... up and down). Afterwards, I fabricated a trick aluminum, gusseted L-bracket that attaches to the recently modified steel heater hose L-bracket and to the raised mounting boss on the ATS manifold (there is only one raised mounting boss). This functions very well and looks extremely trick. I don't remember what size the threaded hole in the raised boss is however, I do know it's Metric.
This is one of those projects where all parts are not included. What the he!!, it builds character.
