ATS Manifold

Where is the best place to drill and tap for the EGT probe on the ATS exhaust manifold? I was told that it had a place for that but I can't see it anywhere on the manifold. TIA.

this is an 2001 but it should be close, there should be a flat spot

On the front half of the manifold, on the top side, is a raised cylindrical area, about 3/8" diameter with a dimple in it. This is where you drill and tap.

Look just to the right of the ball/socket joint on the manifold. If you look close, you can see the raised portion that was cast into the manifold. This is the pyrometer boss that you are supposed to drill and tap. It's a hi-res image, so you should be able to zoom in pretty well and get a look at it.

You were right. I guess I couldn't see the forest for the trees. It's right next to the joint where the two pieces join. It's about 1/2" diameter with a dimple in the middle. Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!
