I was at ATS in Wheat Ridge a few weeks ago, and came across these definitions for anybody who wants to know what the ATS Stage 1 to Stage 4 mean.



Stage 1 is the ATS TripleLok Torque Converter.



Stage 2 you get ATS TripleLok Torque Converter & Performance Valve Body.



Stage 3= ATS TripleLok Torque Converter, Performance Valve Body,

& TripleLok Commander.



Stage 4 is everything: ATS TripleLok Torque Converter, Performance Valve Body,

TripleLok Commander, & ATS Extreme Duty Transmission.



Also, Clint offers 47RE owners the Emjay Strategy Controller which lets you have full PC programmable shift points, T. C. Clutch strategy, Overdrive Cancellation & exhause brake control.
 
I just got the stage 4 installed this week, and man what a difference. I could not stop grinning, the most enjoyable 100 miles i've ever driven! Thank you ATS... ... And TST for the great instalation!
 
medicummin, I have heard Bellflower Transmission is an approved ATS installer, but also Cummins Cal Pacific does ATS installs. But I would call Clint or Carl at 800-949-6002 They have a huge map of the US with hundreds of little pins stuck in it, each pin showing the location of an approved ATS installer. You won't be sorry you chose the TripleLok!:D

Do you have the ATS transmission? if so what set up did you go with and how is it working for you? Also what was the damage to your money clip? Where did you get yours installed? Thanks for the info. I need to beef my transmission up more for my future power upgrades. Right now I'm just running the BD VB and PL. My truck will go to DD in the future for upgrades. I now run PnP and DD2's. Thanks again for the info.
 
Glad to help Medicummin. I got my ATS installed at ATS in Wheat Ridge! (Outside of Denver) But then I love any excuse to go on a trip in my truck! I got the complete Stage IV Trans. Clint let me watch everything as they rebuilt my trans to Stage IV specs. Below is a thread I posted with I got back from there a year and a half ago.



I LOVE MY ATS TRANS! I would do it again in a heartbeat. I have about 30,000 miles on it now, and it has never let me down. It comes off the line like a sportscar now, instead of roaring and not getting anywhere too quickly. I have the TripleLok Commander, and can shift locked if I want. I don't do it much anymore, but it is fun and useful when needed. I do use it when descending steep grades, so the PacBrake can slow me down. It works great. Cost me a little over $3,600 as I recall, but that didn't include the TripleLok Commander--I got that later. It is the best thing I ever did to my truck. The ATS MADE the truck. I expect to get many hundreds of thousands of miles out of the TripleLok--it is TOUGH! From all I have read and seen, ATS has done the most thorough job of engineering of all the Performance Trans. builders out there. In my opinion, ATS is at the Head of the Pack, and all the other Perf. Trans Builders are snapping at their heels, trying to catch up!
