TPS rewire kit for trans TC locking/unlocking problem

EGT vs RPM's relating to MPG

Had enough of the goofin around with the Stage 2 transmission, I "kinda" just a "little" bit went over the HP I told them to build the transmission for, well..... like 250 hp to much at this point (and I just got started  :D )

Anyway, just arranged a time to upgrade to the Stage 5 built up with all the works. It's time to get serious!! Well... ... maybe once I recover from the transmission! Give me a month or two!! :D Oo. Oo.

I talked with ATS today and confirmed my appt. I must be giddy as a 5 year when they get their first bike! I gotta stop calling this place, I always end up adding to the order everytime. First is was a Stage 4 transmission, then I called back and said go Stage 5, then I decided Jeff needs an Exhaust brake. Must be the older I get the less will power I have. Wonder if thats kinda like old folks and no hold back power for certain events if you know what I mean  :D

When you get there ask Clint about those quick spool turbos.

Go ahead hold it in your hands and think what is one more part more or less. It's only Horse Power how addictive can that be? You can quit any time you want, right? Don't worry if you ever get to the point of obsession there is always the 12 step program. Anyway is it really a problem if they have it fixed in 12 easy steps?

:D :D I was the first guy to flunk the 12 step program! :D

Congrats Jeff! Can I get a ride when you're done? Just to make it fair, I'll let you drive my killer EZ+DD2 combo:rolleyes:

Ok, 1st report back after the transmission is all done. THIS THING IS THE CATS MEOW!! Oo. The TC and Valve body was a huge upgrade when I did it back earlier this summer and even for my current HP levels was holding solid as a rock. However, this stage 5 setup is awesome!! Shifts are tight and for giggles I thought I would see how lockup was at low speeds, it will lock up clear down to 15 miles per hour with the commander on! :--)

I want to comment on the service I received from Clint and his staff, 2 thumbs up for sure. They finished it when they said they would and even stayed til 6 on Friday to make sure it was all there. Clint and his staff are #1 in my book!!

Ok, lets see, well the transmission is slayed, whats next... ..... twins, Mach 6's, Ladder bars, hmmm... . :D

Ok, I have 1 complaint with the new transmission. The truck doesnt smoke as much :{ The turbo spools alot quicker and harder cleaning up most of the smoke. :{ I guess thats a good thing for 2 reasons, 1. the environmentalist will stop scowling at me! 2. its time for bigger injectors!!! Oo.

You got that right Edward!! The bad side to all this is I am already dreaming up my next bomb like INjectors, twins, NOS, oh man my bank account is screwed!!!!

Ok I got my first big win with the stage 5!!! Coming home from Denver got on Highway 34 and some hotshot in a PSD Superduty Crew Cab Long Bed that he was cool and kept eggin me on to play. We got slowed down to about 25-30 miles an hour at the train tracks so I reached down, locked up the converter, pulled down to 2nd gear and waited from him to get stupid. (Box was already on Kill mode) He goosed the throttle a few times acting all tough and then finally dropped the hammer, (or in his case should I say (ball ping hammer :D ) so I jumped on it. THE TRUCK BROKE LOOSE!!! This transmission rocks!!!! Oo. Oo. Needless to say this was an easy win!!

It's fun Jeff isn't it!

Another thing I LOVE about my ATS is that all the re-engineered parts are MADE IN U. S. A. By Hard-workin' American Machinists.

I'm thinking of going with a stage 5 in the spring. How long did it take for them to redo the transmission? Also how did you get arround while it was being done and where did you stay?

Thanks

Rich
