I am thinking of upgrading my 2001

with the ATS Triple Lock Torque Converter,Valve Body, and exhaust brake.

Would appreciate any feedback from

members pro or con. I tow a 5th wheel trailer (about 13,000 lbs)

you might want to try a search to find more information. you'll get alot of i like or dis-likes on this subject. do some of your own research before taking the plunge and going to the transmission shop. it's about the best info i can tell you without starting a transmission war. LOLOo.

I have the ATS converter and valve body. It has been on the truck for about 2 yrs and I am very happy with the results. I pull about 14,000 lbs with my Travel Supreme 5th wheel and it has done extremely well.

To be fair, check into DTT, Dave Goerend and Suncoast too. Those appear to be the front runners right now. A N Y aftermarket unit will be better than stock!

Go with your first Instinct. I believe ATS has done the most thorough job of engineering of all the Performance Trans Builders. I've had my ATS Stage IV in for almost 2 years and it is awesome. I would go with ATS again in a heartbeat. I don't believe you can beat Clint & family's cust. service, the ATS engineering or his dedicated employees.

I've only got about 30,000 miles on my Stage IV, and it is simply the Best Think I've ever done to the truck. You won't go wrong with their stuff.

If you want to call ATS, their number is 800-949-6002
