ATS Waterboy kit vs Snow Meth injection i have read a few post but can any one really tell me the difference between these two kits. I am interested in the stage 3 kits also. I do like the waterboy for the sole fact all you need is clean water, if i am right i believe you can fun just water out of the Snow kit also? I really like to hear from people who are running these setups, and did it really lower egts? and improve fuel economy? Thanx

you can run straight water with the Snow kit

Personally, I like a Snow Performance kit, there are more out there on the road that havent messed up, I dont think I know a single person who is running the Waterboy

The Water Boy is a wanna be. It is a cheap imatation of the real thing. Snow Performance all the way. Enough said if you know the backround of this stuff.

it all depends on how much fuel you have. I wouldnt say they 'drop', more like slow down, or stop for me.

Mileage doesnt go up, it just keeps the EGTs down, I think

do you tow heavy? I am guessing you don't have many hills in Louisiana

Painless Coldshot

I'm running Painless's Coldshot on my 6. 7L and it works great! I can tune the controller while I drive which looks tough with the ATS and Snow setup.

Is the painless a three stage kit, Is the benefits worth 800 bucks? I dont pull heavy maybe a jeep are a trailer of fourwheelers thats about all. I am just looking for a bit of cooling when i am at WOT.

The Painless system only reads boost. It's comparable to the Snow Stage 2 kit which is only $569. The Snow Stage 3 kit reads boost and EGT which is way better than boost alone.

Waterboy is nothing more than a Snow copy(they use to carry and promote Snows' kits)

I personally have over 4 years if experience with the Snow kits and would put them against anyones.

that system is used for BIG hp, I think that is a little overkill for what he is wanting to do

And a little over priced for what he wants! If I were running say Twins at 100+ psi of boost I would get that setup, but I like the older self contained system better.
