ATTENTION Fire Burnt Amber Dodge

while pulling up to Kennedy Meadows today, saw this beautiful color sitting proudly in sonors's prospect motors
it was the fire burnt amber cummins
it was a 24v 2500 qc sb4x4
i dont know whether it was an auto or a stick

hope this helps anyone who has gotta have that color

Hey Brandon,,The Amber Fire Pearlcoat is what I had ordered and was told it was discontinued due to a lack of interest,,Can you get me the dealer info and email it to me I'd like to call them as I am very interested in this color,,Thanks Hammer

Someone told me that it was discontinued in January. DC only made it for about 6 months. I guess I have a collectors item. When I get my digital camera (after the guy on ebay waits 7 days for the check to clear) I will take some pictures so y'all can see what it looks like. Is there anyone else on the board who was brave enough to buy such a stand out color?

Yeah, jw I wanted the Amber Fire real bad but the color isn't on the 3500 so I didn't get it. I think its one of the best colors that has come along in a long time. Didn't really care for it on the Dakota but I knew it would look good on the big Ram..... Pete

Hey Hammer,
You aren't really thinking of getting rid of your 98 quadcab 12 valve 4x4 5spd (which happens to be the ultimate combination ever made) for a 24 valve,are you? Most BOMBers would give an arm *and* a leg for it.

Yes I might,,I think the Amber Fire Pearlcoat is the sharpest color out since the muscle car era,,Thanks to Pete,The One I have been looking for may have just dropped into my lap,,See my NOT SO 5 Star dealer told me none were being produced in that color and none were available in the country,and POOF up one pops,,So yes the conditions are right for me to cross to the dark side(24 valve computer scooter land)and it appears I will go,,As for my 98,well if I could find a loving and caring home for it I MIGHT consider selling it,,Its as sharp as the day I bought it,and even the fender wells get Armor All and nothing goes into the bed thats not in a box(please no dirt in there),,If not,WHY not have TWO BLAZING paint colors with both motors,the great 12 valve monster and the NEWER 24 valve HO,,Seems like a great match to me,don't you think?... ... ... #ad

Just an FYI on this dealer... I don't even buy parts there. . I go 72 miles father for anything I need. . they DO NOT deal and are a very small minded dealer. . I drive past this truck twice a day. . it's been there for about 3 months

Intense blue definatley is a stand out, especially when well kept. My first dodge truck was that color and I just had to have it on my new one. I also heard a rumor that Intense Blue was going to follow the fate of Amber Fire?? Anyone know if this is certain... It doesn't sound too unlikely given the recent cost cutting measures that Dodge is taking ie. hood liners...

jwgary, Looks like I've got the twin to your truck. I'd been dancing between the white and the brown when this truck appeared on the dealers lot. All it took was a gear ratio check, (3. 55's), and it was in my garage. I sure get lots of stares when I take it out, keep wondering if there's something falling off my truck or if my fly is open. I think there is still a couple of this color at the dealer in Farmington, N. M. if anyone is interested. They always order their trucks with 4. 10's though.
