Competition Anyone seen this?

Competition 720 HP Turbo diesel drag race video

I am putting on a Jamobree on FEB 4th at 11:00 am. For 4x4 quads only. We have designed around 10 events that are pretty fun and challenging. Most event are set up to test driver ability and experience, not whos got the most cc 's and the biggest tires. Even though lots of us do have big tires. If anybody is interested post.

I wish that date would work. Maybe I can squeeze it in but I doubt it. Im building a house so every spare moment I have will be devoted to that. That leaves no time for my truck either. :{ I didnt know you were into quads. What do you ride?? Ever ride the U. P. ?? We should hook up sometime and ride up there. We usually head up to Big Bay once during the summer. Check out www.lackdog.com Its not my page but its a guy who we ride with. Have fun!!

Jamboree

I just checked google. I am only 5 1/2 hours away. This might be doable. Can you tell about some of the events you have planned?

Chad I am up for a ride in the UP I have road in Bruce Mines Canada, and Munising, but never were you are talking. I ride a 450s with 27" mudlites. About the jamboree, its hard to explain the events, there are four event on the ice to make it super fair between quads (its hard to control any quad on the ice) obstacle course, hocky puck shoot by kicking out the back tire on ice. 6 event that are not on the ice 2. 8 mile enduro have to match average speed to get closest to set time, balance beam, high log like a high jump but you drive over the log, and some others that sound dumb but are super fun. This is the second one I have had. I used to put on mud runs but that got out of hand after 4 years so many people came it was a mess, beer cans all over, fights smashed trucks, ect ect. Plus it is super expensive to mantain a mud truck. So I have down sized to Quads and a Jamboree, it dosent seem to matter how much beer you drink, you cannot break a honda (so far). It should be a good time.

Location?? I guess there used to be a mud bog/beer drinking event over on the backside of six lakes. I never got a chance to make it out there and Im not sure if they have it anymore. Are you familiar with it??

20-30 quads, dayum, sounds like a good ol time!!

I see there is a pull at Mt. P this year. I heard there might be one in Big Rapids too. Those 2 along with your Remus pulls and it sounds like pulling is starting to catch on up in that area. Could be an interesting summer.

5630 N. W. Co. line Remus MI 49340. Yeah that event you are talking about is the mud run I put on the last couple of years, if you are talking about the six lakes between 18 mile and Airline, not the one by Lakeview. Yeah I will post the date for the pull in BR. Give me a call 989-621-9806

Unfortunate isn't it. We have some friends with a few hundred acres that used to have an easter mud bog. That got cancelled about 10yrs ago when about 1-2000 people showed up, trucks by the 100. Couldn't park within 1 mile of the place. People from the U. P. to Detroit were showing up. Got so crazy the owner and regulars parked their trucks!

Sounds like you guys will have a blast. Won't be there since we only have 2wd sport quads.

Dennis, what kind of ride did you get? Did you ever get that auto of yours dialed in? I really wish I go to this event. Sounds like fun!! We start framing on the house tomorrow. Next week turns cold again so I need to get as much done as I can. Hope you enjoy the new ride!!

I got a Honda Rancher AT. Very sweet ride. I have not raced the auto yet, but its coming soon. Seems to work fine. It will be fast this year. Looking for 14. 00 out of a 1 ton dually takes some effort.

Good luck on the house !

Everything went awesome, except the weather and my freshly installed trans in my truck took a crap, other than that over 30 quads showed up and over 50 people, 1st place 450 kodiak, 2nd 650 arctic cat, 3rd 300 arctic cat, 4th Honda 450. I think we had some real fair events judging by the results. Real inpressed with the Rhino he could keep up with most of the quads in all the events, finally went down with a broken rack and pinion.

sorry I missed it. just didn't want to take that long a trip with that kind of weather looming. Keep me informed on the next ride. A buddy of mine and I am interested in seeing MI from a ATV. -Jason
