Proper trailer elevation

Roadmaster Active Suspension

This thing SUCKS! Tried straightening the wires on the RCVR end, new batteries, holding it all different directions. Even ordered a new remote at my expense. Still works about 50% of the time. Got the camper about half way off the truck and it quit, as usual. Then would work for a few seconds, run-stop(cuss)-run-stop(cuss & swear)-run-stop-threaten to break it in half... Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Today I got so ticked off I took out the hand crank and finished the job. Pretty sad. We are camping in a remote area, no RF, EMI or any other source of interference. It does this non sense everywhere, so dont start the "rf interference" excuses, heard enough of that from Atwood.

Any suggestions? PLEASE!

Make sure the jack is well grounded. I have a atwood electric jack on my cargo trailer. There are three bolts that secure it to the tongue. If those bolts get loose, there is no ground and I loose power. Possibly scrape the paint to ensure good contact.

Good luck,

Jeff

Check and see if you are tripping a breaker. If all four quit at once I would say you have a power problem, bad ground, loose connection some where, etc. .

If I take the remote inside and hold it next to the controller, it will work for a little while. Then stop. So I take the remote inside again, hold next to the controller, then it works for a little while, even outside. Then stops.
