Houston TDR Meeting

Got back from the gathering a little while ago. Sagwagon, Big_DQ, Markcuda, and Shannon (a first gen owner who lurks the site) and myself had a good time. I think we will get together again in the future and hopefully more TDR members will come. A big THANKS to all who came. It is pretty interesting what all you can talk about when you start out with a common interest #ad

I am already looking forward to our next get together. My son Kenny and I had a really good time, and Sagwagon's brats were good eating. It was great to get to meet some of the members and their trucks. Sagwagon, I hope that silencer ring falling out of your turbo doesn't bother you too much #ad
Sorry about the smoke, couldn't help myself #ad

Well guys, got home with no tickets or warnings. #ad
Had a great time, can't believe the 6 hours that we were there, seemed like 2. Food was good, that thanks goes to Sagwagon. So we get down the road 20 miles, I asked the wife "what did you think of the get together"? Her reply was: "You never shut up"! That pretty much hurt my feelings but I managed. I explained to her the best I could that this was a cookout/truck talk. Well, she told me that I definitely took advantage of the talk part, so now my feelings are really hurt. None for her tonight. But anyway, all in all, I did learn one thing, I do need more horsepower. When I saw that big black mark that Don (big_DQ) laid, I knew right away stage II's are not enough. LOL. Now I'm wondering if Sears will take back that air compressor. #ad
Thanks again for everything. Had a great time. Let's get together again sometime but maybe next time it can be a little longer.

Don, forgot to acknowledge that Kenny was there, sorry. Mark, forgot to mention your wife was the only wife that came, again, sorry. Steve, thanks for the food. You guys are going to have to drink more of the beverages I brought. I'm going to have to use them all up myself. Shannon, too bad it took you so long to find the place! Would have been nice to have another truck there longer than 2 hours (and your company). If we set this up again, say in October or in there somewhere, and the people count looks like it would be the same you all would be welcome at my house which is only three miles down the road. We aslo could meet earlier and stay a little later if all wanted to. See you all in the future!

It was a great day for a get-together!Even had 1 call at home this evening from a friend who was thinking it was tomorrow,he was pretty disappointed but will be there next time. All in all,a good showing # wise for a first gathering. The company was definitely quality!Mark,I think we all did our share of talking/storytelling(But mine were the true ones, with f**d owning cummins, right, guys?)Sorry about those directions,Shannon. All that education wasted. Lets think about October for another meeting before a winter break. David,Thanks Much for the early bird action for grabbing a spot at the park. Good Job!
