Well just called the holiday INN



I never made my reservations I wanted to check here first Ive never planned a vaction before so I need some advice .



I figgered I would leave the house thursday morning



and stay at the hotel Thursday night ,Friday night ,Saturday Night , and Sunday night than Leave for home Monday Morning



Does that seem like the thing to do ???



$104 a night at the hotel is that reasonable ???????



If so Ill call them back .

Looks like its 1 mile North of the fairgrounds just above Interstate 70 maybe a bit more relaxed for the family a little away from the excitment maybe a nice escape

We skipped last years vacation because of the baby but he will be 2 on march 4th so he is game to see some diesels ... . I think he will like it ... He will like the indoor pool alot also .



My wife is a homemaker so usually what ever I want to do we do. ofcourse if she really dont want to do something she can make it a real misrable time.



I will have to wine and dine and spend many of a bill at local shops to keep her interested. along with spending time at SDX it should all come together in a very interesting way.



I think when i get back I will 2nd morgage the house ... lol. .

Comfort Suites is relatively new, not falling in and it is one of the nicer hotels in Terre Haute. Its near a lot of the other hotels also.



IHOP is right near you too for your breakfast eatery.

I will be there with others from the Terre Haute area. Some TDR members and some not.



KOA is about 5 mins down 70. Never stayed there but been back there and it looks nice anyway.



IHOP sounds good.

Pear tree inn online pricing was $75 a night i booked 3 rooms for me and some buddy's. Stayed at KOA two years ago nice place lots of trees for shade. Should be a good time as usual. Cops usually put a warning out to the announcers to tell people to lay off the smoke shows.
