I'm just going to be there from about lunch on Friday. I'll leave Friday night. I'd like to meet some TDR folk but I'm not sure how to spot them... suggestions?



1. TDR badges/shirts/hats?

2. Excessive drool?

3. Empty wallets?

4. High #s on the dyno?

Nice Meeting you DieselMinded. I think that over the years of going there, every year there gets to be fewer and fewer Fords, and a couple more Chevys per year. But, still mainly all Dodge's.

I meet a few TDR'er VIA window Decals ,,,funny thing is more people had the decals then were members ... . left me fealling a bit stupid !!!

Seen Sleddy for the first time ,,,,, 3rd place I beleave ... . Shieid won Friday but got 2nd Saturday . . NICE TO SEE ALL THOSE INDY PULLERS USING MITCHELLS CEPEKS NOW... . LOL

I have to admit the product fair WAS A JOKE ..... disappointed to say the least



The cost was a joke also



cost me about $150 for the family just to get in for the weekend ... .



I figger Sheid made about a million dollars between tickets ,,,parts and repairs to get home



With all the ploblisity entry should be free IMO



But all in all it was some expirence



BTW I didnt meet one TDR'er at IHOP ... . there was only 1 CTD in the parking lot between 8:30-9 AM ... . :<



I think Ill being going to IRP for my next CTD TRIP.



I guess there product fair is not all from the same company ... . BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!



I did get a Cummins 24 Valve Blue Powder Coated Valve Cover for $150 ... its being shipped to me ... :> other than that they had the ATS intakes for $250 ... . those were the only 2 things That interested me out of the whole works

When thinking about the product fair, you have to consider it is Scheids event (Scheid Diesel Ext. ), why would they invite other vendors who are competetors. You could buy other peoples products online if you want. If you took the time to actually stop and talk to the manufacturers who were there they were full of information.



Any truck pull, drag race, etc. will cost you money to get into, not just Scheids event. They have to pay the fair board for use of the facility, pay the sled company, etc. Friday night was an ATPA event, prob not to much Scheid could have done about that, I think anyway.



The Extrav. is about diesel powered vehicles and thats what happended this weekend. I'm sure we all feel different about it, I feel like I got what i paid for. Lots of smoke.

And meet alot of fellow Diesel'ers and got some cool stuff also



I talked to the Bosch guy for about 45 mins and the holset guy for about 15 Mins and I peed the ATS and the redline guys off didnt mean to pee off the redline guy He must of not liked my bang for the buck vs Edge products statement even tho I told him that getting the #'s with just fueling is cool and as I asked him if it was more than what comp says he looks around (THATS ALWAYS A GOOD SIGN) and says "AND MORE" ..... LOL



I also meet alot of CTD owner that truly think a edge comp adds 400 RWHP and yes they were serious all 3 of them ... ... ... ... ... ... . and they were not together ... .



Kind of crazy their..... not sure what these people are schooled in... ..... but its defently interesting.



I walked up to ATS Stand ... . they had a tripple lock all opened up and I ask ... " SO WHICH PARTS ARE FROM SUNCOAST" ..... OH BOY !!!!... . lol



They were PO'd big time there was about 15 guys standing there lol



I came back threw on the last day and we Bs'd a bit So all was well ..... Other than the Blue Chip guy chasing me down and offering me his box I pay for a run with my box and a dyno run with his box... . now that was cool . . and I asked him so how much for the box if I want it ... . well you'll have to talk to Shieds about that ... what BS ... I said no thanks.



Dont get the wrong Idea it was still very fun and educational but a product fair IMO has alot of dffrent booths set up from diffrent vendors and each has there own cash register... . and you can deal with them on anything ... ...



Right it is Schieds Thing but common GET YOUR $$$$$$ FROM VENDORS FOR BOOTHS dont just offer your own stuff and Rape at the Gate
